I am a young girl with female pattern hair loss. My grandma lost all her hair at an old age and my mother lost her hair postpartum. With my sisters having thick hair, losing a large proportion of my hair and being left with a bald, patchy scalp and moderate to severe hair loss along the scalp with some volume retained at the ends instead, I cannot tell you how heartbreaking this was to me and how this has affected my body image (hair image) and self-esteem as a young woman. Overall, the reasons I love Boost n Blend in the black shade are because it doesn't give an overly matte/powdery look and blue undertone in harsh lighting compared to other brands. I find that Boost n Blend gives a very natural shine to hair. I apply it using a cotton pad. I go to uni and work as a student at a healthcare-related workplace, and get compliments from customers on my hair (who would have thought). Before this, I was wearing a hat everywhere. Boost n blend is much less flaky and clumpy than other brands - one of the main things I hated about 'hair fibres' . There is significantly less transfer of the fibres onto pillowcases. It would be even better if there was no flaking at all onto the face, especially when there are really harsh winds (maybe I need to find a spray to hold it in place) and if it didn't run out so fast. But thank you for this product - I don't know what I would do without it!!
